Fred Mertz
A Certified General Accountant, Fred grew up on the family farm near Redwater, Alberta and served as Controller for the family's large, diversified farm business. When the family sold the business in 1990, Fred sought new ways to work in agriculture and work for farm families.
Since then, he has helped hundreds of farm families as an agricultural tax planning specialist, and since 2004, as a REALTOR® with MaxWell Canyon Creek specializing in the needs of landowning families in the greater Calgary region. Over the years, Fred has served on many agriculture-related boards and committees and has authored many tax-related articles for various publications.
Cortina Kereluk-Bird
A Business Administration graduate, Cortina joined Fred's accounting team in 1999 after several years with Revenue Canada. With family farming roots in Saskatchewan, she's right at home working with Fred's agricultural clients.
Sandra Harasymuk
Born and raised in Saskatoon, Sandra entered the accounting field in 1989, working for a local firm. In 1995, she moved to Calgary and has worked with Fred ever since.
